A narrow linewidth laser is a device that produces a laser beam with an extremely narrow spectral linewidth. Spectral linewidth refers to the range of differences in the frequency of an optical signal, usually expressed as bandwidth per unit frequency. Typically, such lasers also exhibit low intensity noise. Some lasers do not only need to have a small linewidth. Our narrow linewidth lasers deliver highly stabilized, single-frequency light from UV to LWIR (≈263nm–17µm), custom tailored for applications requiring exceptional wavelength stability, control, and spectral purity. At present, ultra-narrow-linewidth lasing is generated by solid-state, optical fiber, and semiconductor lasers, which serve as a good light. Narrow-linewidth lasers mainly depend on the development of advanced laser linewidth measurement methods for related technological progress as key devices in satellite laser communications, precision measurements, ultra-high-speed optical communications, and other fields.
